After a long time without blog post ... finally, here's the next one. I'm sure I will increase the frequency for the next months.
Before I can do a current one for autumn, I need absolutly realease one about Sardegnas capital Cagliari from last June. Two years ago I have done a daytrip to Cagliari, since then I'm in love with the city. Pherhaps it's the combination of south italian charm and a city with the biggest harbour at Sardegna. We decided to spend 2 nights there before the June vacation ends.
The old-town is named Castello and is located at the top of a hill. This is also where we rent an old fashioned but very nice apartment. The whole Castello exists only out of very narrow streets, they are as broad as a horse-drawn carriage has needed a long time ago. Nevertheless the local people drive with there motorbikes and small cars as if the were broad like a highway.
Particularly in the late evening the view from the Castello is very nice, needless to say that the light is also best for photography during this hours.
In the old town are a lot of awesome small Ristorantes and Cafes, where very special and .delicious menus are served. There are also very small work,.shops for craftsman service. Can't imagine that would bring enough money to pay the bills in Austria but I found it very pleasant and brings up the feeling to be 80 years back in time.
Last day of a Sardegna camping vacation is always like catch the ferry, park the car (don't forget to apply the handbrake), watch the departure of the ferry, find a seat, try to sleep some time on board and wait for arriving in destination harbour. If you get lucky you can do a kind of street photography at ferry.
All photos are taken as always with Fujifilm X100T(23mm 2.0) , X-E2 and objectives 56mm 1.4, 14mm 2.8. Most of the images are done with Classic Chrome film simulation and some adaptions in Lightroom.
